Craigs Heartstrong Foundation has welcomed its newest committee member, Feena Moffat, following a unanimous decision to appoint her to the team.
Feena, who has already been volunteering at several of the charity’s events, said her motivation to step into a formal role comes from a deeply personal place.
Her partner former FC Isle of Man striker Luke Murray, who is also the charity’s secretary, has been dealing with heart issues, an experience she says opened her eyes to the challenges faced by so many families.
Deeply Personal
“I’m joining the charity because heart health has become deeply personal to me,” she said.
“My boyfriend recently has been facing heart issues, and supporting him through that experience opened my eyes to how many people and families go through similar challenges. I’ve already been involved in the charity’s work and have really valued the chance to contribute.
“Now, I’d love to make that involvement official and continue helping others within the community who are navigating the same difficult journey.”
The Foundation said Feena has already made a “huge impact” through her hands‑on support at events and will now bring her ideas, energy and expertise to the committee as it continues its work promoting cardiac screening and heart‑health awareness across the island.
