Castletown square will be host to a fan zone from next week for the 2024 Southern 100 Road Races.
The big screen that the square boasts will be play footage of the Southern 100 from years gone by, and thanks to Greenlight Television action from this years racing.
The all new live timing will also feature on the screen.
Fan Zone
Riders chats will be held on the Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday at 1:30pm.
The fan park will open on July 8 at 1pm and close at 11pm.
It will then open at 10am each morning and stay open right through until 11pm during the race period.
Championship Day on Thursday (July 11) evening will see the traditional and unique Southern 100 prize presentation take place.
Southern 100 Racing welcome the joint venture by the Castletown Commissioners and ELS Isle of Man as it will encourage fans to come into the square during the day and in the evening, and hopes to boost local business all in the spirit of the ‘friendly races’.
