Jilly Christian has been named the new Head of Anti-Money Laundering (AML) Policy, tasked with coordinating the Isle of Man’s strategy to combat money laundering, terrorist financing.
The AML Policy Office collaborates with law enforcement, regulators, the Financial Intelligence Unit, government agencies, and international partners to maintain the Island’s financial integrity.
In her role, she will lead critical initiatives, including the National Risk Assessment and preparations for the 2026 MONEYVAL Mutual Evaluation.
Miss Christian brings extensive experience, having served in the MONEYVAL Secretariat and as Senior Strategic Analyst in the Isle of Man Financial Intelligence Unit.

Reflecting on her appointment, she said: “It’s a privilege to lead such a committed team at a pivotal time. Tackling ML/TF/PF truly requires an all-Island approach, and I look forward to help strengthen that collaboration.”
She added: “The next two years as we prepare for the MONEYVAL Mutual Evaluation will be intense, but they will also be a real opportunity to drive meaningful progress and showcase the good work we do.”
Miss Christian takes charge amid evolving global financial threats, with the island’s 2026 evaluation a key focus.
Her leadership aims to reinforce the Isle of Man’s reputation as a secure, well-regulated finance centre.
