A haulage firm has been announced as the new sponsor of St George’s AFC.
Freight Hub, owned by Sean Quaye and Mike Jackson, is the sponsor the clubs new home shirt.
Having met playing for St Georges as teenagers, they were part of the generation of players that went on to dominate Manx football.
They said: “When the opportunity arose to sponsor our local team, St George’s AFC, we jumped at the chance”
As if the shirt sponsorship wasn’t enough, Quaye rolled back the years by slipping on his boots to help Geordies secure a shock 1-0 win over league leaders Castletown in the Woods Cup on Saturday afternoon.
