While the London Marathon dominated attention on Sunday, several Manx athletes were also in action further afield.
Bobbie Hempsall completed her debut marathon in Madrid, finishing in 4:36:30.
Further north, Stephen Schuster of the Isle of Man Veteran Athletes’ Club produced a strong run at the Blackpool Marathon, crossing the line in 3:23:42.
Katherine Cubbon also contested Blackpool Marathon and finished in 3.15:53, she was third lady and ran beat her own personal best by 18 minutes.
Hannah Francis travelled to Germany to compete in the Hamburg Marathon and finished in a time of 04:57:17.

Stateside, Daz Sharpe ran the Boston Marathon in 2:55:59.
