We’re heading into a quiet, settled stretch, the sort of early May run that behaves itself, even if it’s still not quite giving us the warmth we’re all waiting for.
Today will be a dry day with bright or sunny intervals, the sunshine coming and going but never too far away.
The north to northeast breeze freshens later, keeping things on the cooler side, though it’ll still feel decent in the sheltered spots.
Highs around 15°C, fine, but I won’t pretend I wouldn’t take a couple more degrees.
Staying Settled
Sunday is the tidier day of the two. Fine, mostly sunny, cool first thing, then lifting into a clean, crisp afternoon.
Winds back from NE to NW, staying light to moderate, and visibility stays mostly good.
Into Monday, and the theme continues: mostly dry, sunny intervals, and only the faintest hint of a few overnight spots of rain.
Winds ease back for a time as they swing from NW to W/NW. Still cool mornings, still bright afternoons, still wishing the thermometer would push itself on a bit.
Tuesday keeps things steady. Dry with sunny spells, a firm northwesterly, and temperatures again around 11°C.
