One of the Steam Packet’s able seafarers is taking the next step in his maritime career as he begins his Officer of the Watch training at Fleetwood Nautical College.
James Taylor has worked at the company for fifteen years having joined in 2010.
The company said that James has “consistently demonstrated professionalism, drive, and a strong commitment to learning”.
It added: “His progression from Passengers Services to AB to officer cadet is not only a personal achievement, but also a shining example of the career development opportunities available within the maritime industry.
“We’re excited to support Jay on this next chapter and look forward to welcoming him back on the bridge in the future — this time as an Officer”.
