Teams from across the island came together for the Lisa Conley Memorial girls football festival this weekend.
The festival was held at Rushen United’s Croit Lowey ground in Port Erin.
With teams playing in groups ranging from u8s to u14s, the Isle of Man FA said over 300 girls took part.
Lisa, who sadly died earlier this year, was instrumental in setting up the girl’s football at Rushen.
Her work alongside Noel Gill being recognised with them being awarded the Grassroots Lioness Award award for improving the women and girls game and having a big impact on their community on and off the pitch.
As well as having a growing junior set up, the island’s women’s team has gone to new heights in recent years, including picking up the Cherry Godfrey Cup in Jersey earlier this summer.
