A fundraiser in memory of a man who lost his life in a road traffic collision in Peel has raised £7,500.
Nesta Hasleden, 21, died in a crash near QEII High School on Wednesday afternoon.
The money has been dominated by people who wanted to help Mr Haselden’s family in any way they can.
Melissa Mention, who set up the fundraiser, said: “Many local people have decided they would like to help and we have decided to raise funds for the family to help towards any funeral costs, travel costs for family member’s, also any support they may need over the coming months.
“Any donations at all I’m sure the family will be so very grateful.”
