New Road in Laxey is partially blocked this morning after a set of Manx Electric Railway overhead lines came down onto the carriageway.
Police are on scene managing traffic while Manx Electric Railway engineers deal with the issue. Vehicles are still getting through, but movement is slow.
Drivers heading through Laxey are being advised to use Minorca Hill and Old Laxey Hill as alternative routes.
