Loganair has implemented its flexible travel policy for passengers booked on flights to and from the island this weekend.
It means that due to the likely disruption passengers can change their bookings for alternative dates for free.
The policy is in response to weather warnings issued by the Met Office from Friday afternoon and throughout Saturday.
Passengers holding tickets for travel on Friday or Saturday can now re-book onto an alternative flight up to 14 days from their original travel date.
No Fee
No change fee or difference in fare will be payable, and bookings can be transferred on a first-come, first-served basis where seats are available.
Loganair says it currently plans to fly all its scheduled services. The airline has confirmed that standby aircraft and crews are in place to help recover any disrupted services as soon as weather conditions permit.
The airline has clarified that unless a flight is officially cancelled, no refund will be offered for any service that continues to operate.
The easiest way for customers to change their flights is through the Manage My Booking page on the airline’s website.
