Patrick Commissioners is going to increase its rates by 2% for 2025/26.
It has set the rates for 2025/26 at 248p, which is up from 243p for the current year.
In coming to this decision the Board considered carefully the increase which is predominantly driven by several reasons:
- Increased gate fees at the Energy from Waste Plant;
- Inflation on some services received;
- The upcoming Local Authority Elections in April;
- The substantial increase of fees to the Western Civic Amenity Site.
