Paulina Kurzydlowska has been named as the winner of the 2025 John Nicholson Foundation Bursary Award.
The Rotary Club of Rushen & Western Mann formed The John Nicholson Foundation in 1991, with an aim to support students in the Advancement of the Visual Arts.
Each year it makes a Bursary Award to support a local artist.

In her application, Paulina said: “I intend to use the bursary from the John Nicholson Foundation to fund canvas and stretchers for the creation of new paintings.
“I would like to continue to paint large scale pieces in a studio environment and this funding would be integral to my development as a professional artist.”
