Emily Mylchreest continued her superb year of racing in 2025 by winning a trail race in the Lake District at the weekend.
The event was the The Maverick Lakes Osprey, based in Grasmere, with various distances on offer.
Emily contested the ‘Middle’ race over a distance of around 25 kilometres, and won the women’s race in a field of 68 in a time of 2:53:49.
Overall she was fourth in a field of 190.
It’s another excellent achievement in a year in which Emily has won a team medal in the Half Marathon at the Island Games and has progressed greatly over all disciplines of distance running.
