A person was removed from the public gallery during Tuesday’s sitting of the House of Keys after heckling the Chief Minister.
The exchange came during a session in which Mr Cannan was facing questions on the Steam Packet Company’s fuel surcharge mechanism and its impact on residents and businesses.
As Alf Cannan responded to a question on fuel surcharges, he was challenged on not answering a question by a woman.
Mr Cannan was outlining that fuel surcharges on the Steam Packet are lower than they were in 2022/23 when the woman said “you haven’t answered the question yet”.
Speaker Juan Watterson interrupted proceedings to address those in the public gallery and then asked an official to remove the woman who had spoken out.
