Police appeal for potential witnesses of RTC

The Isle of Man Constabulary are appealing for potential witness to a road traffic collision (RTC) that took place last week.

The RTC happened on Derby Road, Douglas at 10:25pm last Friday (February 16).

The police believe that only one person was involved in this collision.

According to the constabulary, the person involved is currently in hospital receiving treatment for injuries sustained and they are believed to be in a stable condition at this time.

RTC witness appeal

The constabulary would like to appeal to members of the public, who may have been present in the area at the time, have dash camera footage, CCTV footage, or have any information in regards to this incident to contact the force.

In particular the police would like to speak to anyone in the area at the time of the incident, who may have witnessed the collision.

It is particularly interested in any person who recalls seeing a male riding an electric scooter in the area, at the above time (10:25pm).

It would like to kindly ask that the public do not speculate in regards to this incident.
