Police assure public that dog was found ‘safe and well’

Last night (May 2), a video involving a dog in the area of Woodbourne Road in Douglas was circling social media.

Over 250 comments were left on the post, and several called for police intervention.

The Isle of Man Constabulary confirmed to Manx.News that the force ‘investigated a matter in Woodbourne Road, Douglas involving a dog last night’.

The Police can ‘assure the public that the dog was found to be safe and well’. 

It would ask that the public do not speculate further on this matter, and it will not be making further comment on the matter.
