The Police have asked drivers to take additional care this morning when travelling around the island.
After a cold night, there are significant ice patches across the island’s roads.
Some drivers have said the QB and Fort North roundabouts, Johnny Watterson’s Lane and Ballanard Road are particularly bad on the way into Douglas.
The Police said: “We have already experienced several minor collisions as a result and wish to remind drivers that when conditions are icy to reduce their speeds and increase the following distance behind the car in front significantly to provide adequate distance to stop.”
