Fire crews from Laxey and Douglas scrambled to rescue a pony earlier this morning.
Crews were called out at 8am this morning to reports of a pony stuck in a deep ditch at a property in Baldrine.
With the assistance of the owner, a vet from Milan Veterinary Practice and a kind farmer with a telehandler, Blackberry the pony was safely recovered from the ditch.
Station Officer Quirk praised a “great team effort all round”.
