Pop-Up Won’t Return to Castletown

Filbeys has announced that it will not be returning to Castletown Square this year.

The decision follows the Castletown Commissioners’ rejection of the business’s proposal to continue its monthly pop‑ups.

In a statement shared with customers, the team said they had received “a lot of questions” about when they would next be in Castletown, prompting them to release an update.

They confirmed that their application to continue monthly visits had been turned down, describing the news as “very disappointing.”

Shifting Focus

The business reflected warmly on its time in Castletown last year, saying they “absolutely loved” serving the community and wished the outcome had been different.

With the decision now final, Filbeys is shifting its focus to exploring alternative locations for future pop‑ups.

According to the announcement, several ideas are already in the works as the team looks for new ways to bring “maximum Filbeys” to customers across the island throughout the rest of the year.

Filbeys also expressed gratitude to their supporters, thanking them for their “continued support and love” as they navigate the change.
