A candidate in the upcoming Port St Mary by-election says he would like to see the facilities utilised more for events.
James Helps is standing for the vacant commissioners seat and is calling for better communication between board members and resident and is something he would like to improve if elected.
Residents can vote at Port St Mary Town Hall from 8am until 8pm, on Thursday 18 April and anyone applying for a proxy vote has until 17 April at 5pm.
Mr Helps says he was motivated to stand as a commissioner so residents have a choice.
