An Arbory, Castletown and Malew MHK has submitted written questions seeking detailed cost and performance data from the Department of Health and Social Care.
Jason Moorhouse MHK is specifically asking for information relating to mental‑health crisis care on the Isle of Man.
Mr Moorhouse has asked Health and Social Care Minister Claire Christian to disclose the average length of stay at Manannan Court for patients admitted in mental‑health crisis, along with the average cost of such admissions.

In a second written question, tabled for answer by April 9, Mr Moorhouse requests a breakdown of the cost of frontline crisis responses, specifically:
- the cost of calling out an ambulance,
- the cost of admitting someone to Noble’s Hospital Accident & Emergency Department, and
- the cost of one hour of support from the mental‑health crisis team.
The queries come amid ongoing scrutiny of the island’s mental‑health provision, with particular focus on crisis pathways, capacity at Manannan Court, and the financial sustainability of emergency responses.
