Ramsey rugby club may not have got the result they wanted on Saturday, but helped spread a much more important message on the pitch.
The club lost 17-26 to Ashton-Under-Lyme, in difficult conditions at Mooragh Park.
While the result went against them, the game saw Ramsey sport their Isle Stand up to Suicide shirts which were unveiled earlier in the week.
The charity said: “We were so proud to see the team wearing the Isle Stand Up to Suicide logo on their shirts.
“These men are sending a powerful, clear message to our community: We are all standing up to suicide and breaking the stigma to save lives through action.”
