Stunning goals from Luke Booth and Jacob Crook saw FC Isle of Man come from behind to secure a vital win at the Bowl.
The win sees Paul Jones’ side into sixth, level on points with fifth placed FC St Helens.
The Ravens fell behind on the ninth minute when Adam Killey punched a long throw into his own goal to give the visitors the lead.
As the Ravens grew into the game, a half cleared ball fell to Booth and when his cross was blocked, he hit a stunning dipping volley which sailed into the far corner leaving keeper Matthew Hamnet stranded to leave the game level at the break.
With the home side largely bossing the second half, Crook found the breakthrough as his shot from distance again left Hamnet with no chance as the ball riffled into the far corner.
As Padiham went looking for an equaliser, Killey turned hero as he made a stunning double save before clinging onto the ball in amongst a crowded box to keep the lead intact.
Even a late sending off for Jack McVey, after a lot of confusion in which the referee inexplicably initially dismissed Jamie Corlett by mistake, couldn’t stop the Ravens from securing the win.
