An Onchan Commissioner wants to introduce a new method for dealing with anti-social behaviour in the village.
Scott Wilson says a ‘restorative justice’ approach, which sees a panel from the community moderating alongside the victim and offender, could help young people in the long run.
The system would only deal with ‘minor transgressions’, but he believes it could also help alleviate some of the pressure on the local police.

Mr Wilson says there are many in the village who don’t want young people to be criminalised.
