A temporary closure of the A3 between Douglas Road Corner in Kirk Michael and Ballig Bridge will be in place today from 10am to midday.
The closure follows this week’s storm, which left significant debris on the road and blocked surface water drainage, causing localised flooding in areas with limited visibility.
Access to residential properties, emergency services, and scheduled buses will be maintained.
Residents within the closure zone are advised to keep speeds below 20mph due to ongoing works in restricted-visibility areas.
Through traffic will be diverted via the Michael to Peel Coast Road and Poortown Road.
