Emergency services responded to three separate incidents across Douglas, Sulby and Kirk Michael between over the last 24 hours.
At 7.03pm on last night (February 23), firefighters attended a two‑vehicle collision in Douglas.
All occupants had already self‑evacuated, and crews spent around 30 minutes making the vehicles safe and ensuring there was no further risk to the public.
Just over an hour later, at 8.14pm, Ramsey crews were called to reports of a large outside fire in the Sulby area.
Garden Fire
On arrival, they found a small garden fire approximately two metres square, which the landowner had already extinguished.
This morning at 7.56am crews from Kirk Michael were dispatched to a road traffic collision.
The driver had safely exited the vehicle before firefighters arrived. Crews remained on scene for about an hour to make the vehicle safe, and the road was closed for a period.
The Fire Service thanked the public for their patience during the disruption.
The service has issued a reminder to anyone planning a controlled burn that they notify the Emergency Services Joint Control Room on 697327 to avoid unnecessary emergency callouts and ensure resources remain available for genuine incidents.
