A family member of former Sergeant John Stanley Quaye has been found following a public appeal.
The Isle of Man Constabulary were appealing for family members as they were in possession of several personal artefacts that once belonged to the Sergeant.
The police were hoping to get in touch with his family and return the artefacts to his relatives.
Police say they have located a family member and thanked the Manx community for coming together when it matters.
