Lesley Shimmin has earned a place in the Wales O65s/O70s squad travelling to Belgium this weekend for the Women’s Masters Five Nations Hockey Tournament.
The competition will see Wales face top‑level opposition from the Netherlands, Scotland, Belgium and England LX, offering valuable international match experience.
Although this is Shimmin’s first outdoor appearance for Wales, she has already represented the national indoor side six times.
The Manx Hockey Association has wished her the best of luck and says it looks forward to hearing about her tournament experience on her return.
