A skip at the Northern Civic Amenity Site has been contaminated with asbestos.
For the safety of staff and the public, the amenity site at Balladoole is currently unable to accept any rubble, soil, or ceramics due to the contamination.
The site has sent samples aboratory analysis, and are awaiting the results.
NCAS will provide an update as soon as it is able to resume accepting these materials.
