Weekend weather fans please be amazed by my alliteration in the headline, quite frankly I amazed myself too with soggy and sunny.
Lets get into it, today is going to start off lovely but then turn rather soggy and well, miserable – I couldn’t use the word I wanted to use, so I’ll leave that to the imagination.
Soggy Saturday
According to our lovely Met Office, today (February 17) is going to be generally dry but with mist or fog patches at first, rain (a fair bit of it 10-15mm) arriving in the afternoon, turning heavy at times, then clearing overnight.
Wind will be a S or SW 10-15, increasing 15-20 through the morning, then further increasing 20-25 in the afternoon, veering W 10-15 overnight.
Visibility will be moderate or poor, occasionally very poor at first.
Sunny Sunday
Sunny is a brave word to use, but screw it, I’m making the most of it as it will be “dry with bright or sunny spells”.
Wind will be a W 10-15, increasing 15-20 in the evening.
Top temperature of 11°C and low of 6°C.
Outlook
Monday (February 19), is looking a fairly similar day to Sunday – hopefully bloody lovely, just a bit breezy.
Highs of 10°C and lows of 6°C.
It’ll be again, dry with bright or sunny spells with a westerly wind of 15-20, backing SW 20-25 later.
Tuesday
Back to the rain we go.
Tuesday will be cloudy but dry at first, rain for a time in the afternoon, then becoming mainly dry later in the evening.
Highs of 10°C, with lows of 8°C.
Wind will be a SW 20-25 with gusts up to 40 in exposed areas, decreasing 15-20 later.
