Steam Packet boss Brian Thomson was given a tour of Robinsons in an effort to get to know customers better.
The Steam Packet managing director was invited to the business premises on Cooil Road last week.
Robinsons are not only a customer of the Steam Packet, but also one of its “most important suppliers” in Manx produce.
Good Opportunity
The Steam Packet said that the visit “was a good opportunity” for the businesses to get know one another better.
The visit also allowed the Steam Packet to gain a better understanding of Robinsons needs and how changes to its services impact the business.
It enabled a “stronger knowledge of the challenges of sustainability and food security” and the vital role the Steam Packet plays in that supply chain.
