Parliament Street in Ramsey has been granted an emergency closure due to a suspected gas leak.
The road is closed from the top section of Parliament Street in Ramsey, between Parliament Square and West Street, while the road surface is excavated to locate the leak.
Traffic will be able to access the remainder of Parliament Street via West Street (off West Quay by Commissioner’s car park), Christian Street (West Quay or Albert Road) and Tower Street (Albert Road).
The length of time that this closure is in place will depend upon how quickly the location of the leak is identified.
