The Isle of Man rifle league season got off to a strong start, with defending champions Port St Mary setting down a marker in an early victory over Sandsiders, 492–446.
On Monday (October 6) evening, Donna Gardner led the field with a flawless 100, the only perfect score of the night.
Close behind were 2025 Individual Champion Ben Kelly and clubmate Kevan Kneale, both scoring impressive 99s to round off a dominant performance from Port St Mary.

Elsewhere, Castletown secured a comfortable 482–184 win over a depleted Kirk Michael team, with veteran shooter Steve Gardner top scoring on 98.
In the final fixture, Laxey edged out visitors Sulby 475–462 in a closely fought match.
Despite low numbers, Sulby fielded four junior shooters — a promising sign for the future of the sport.
