Gandeys Circus has cancelled all performances scheduled for Sunday after forecasts indicated wind speeds high enough to exceed the Big Top’s strict safety limits. The circus is currently based at the site next to the TT Grandstand in Douglas.
Circus management said the decision was unavoidable and taken early to give families and ticket‑holders as much notice as possible. Safety protocols for large temporary structures are non‑negotiable, and the team emphasised that audience and performer welfare must come first.
What Ticket‑Holders Should Do
Anyone with tickets for Sunday’s cancelled shows can transfer their booking to either:
- Tonight’s performance, or
- Any of Saturday’s shows
