Temporary speed limit lifted on part of TT course

The temporary speed restriction has been lifted on a lower section of the TT course, from the Creg Ny Baa to Hillberry.

The Department of Infrastructure (DOI) say that while there remains outstanding work for that section of road, the current and forecast weather this week means that the likelihood is high that visibility will be reduced for extended periods.

In the interest of safety the DOI will come back to this location ahead of TT when visibility has improved.

The DOI had introduced the speed limit whilst a number of different road maintenance tasks were taking place.

Works were to include road surface patch repairs, refreshing lining and drainage maintenance.
