The Isle of Man Government are reminding businesses that the annual liquor licence fees are now due, and all payments must be made by April 2.
This can be done in person at the Courts public counter, by BACS, cheque or over the phone on (01624) 686423.
Recent changes to liquor licences mean that they now continue indefinitely, subject to the payment of an annual fee.
Annual payments
The Courts have issued reminder letters to licence holders, explaining the annual fee amount due for the period April 1, 2024 to March 31, 2025.
The payable fee is based on the rateable value of the premises, which can be obtained from your rates bill or the Treasury Valuations Office.
If you have any queries about the fee, or haven’t received your letter, call 686423.
If cleared funds are not received by close of business on April 2, 2024, licences will immediately and automatically cease and a new licence application will be required.
Please confirm by email to licensing@courts.im once payment has been sent, stating the name of the premises.
