Tributes have been paid to ‘real community figure’, Nigel Rawlinson.
Western Vikings Rugby Club said it is “deeply saddened to learn of the sudden passing of our former player Nigel Rawlinson”.
The Peel rugby club said that even after Nigel’s playing days he remained a “keen supporter” of the club.
It added he was a “real community figure with a great sense of humour, he got involved in our fundraising events, particularly our Club Mhelliah, and was Master of Ceremonies a number of times”.
