Over half of the members of Prospect have voted to reject the Public Services Commission pay offer.
The PSC proposed a “final offer to increase the salary of PSC employees as follows: 2024/25 4% 2025/26 2.5%”.
The ballot results are in and 51.23% of members rejected the offer.
Whilst, 48.67% accepted PSC’s offer.
The PSC had favoured a three year deal, but this was overwhelmingly rejected by members of the Unite and Prospect unions.
It said that the change to a two-year deal is “less attractive” to the PSC as it makes it harder for it to make effective financial forward planning.
