DEFA Minister Clare Barber is to be asked about precautions for the island’s agriculture and livestock during this year’s TT.
Jason Moorhouse has been granted permission to ask the urgent question by the President of Tynwal.
He will asked Mrs Barber what additional precautions and advice will be provided ahead of the TT following the Bluetongue Restricted Zone being extended on Sunday?
The new extended zone includes Heysham Port and comes as concerns persist about the numbers of notified foot and mouth cases in Europe.
The UK government extended the zone to include Lancashire following the identification of cases in cattle.
The Isle of Man is currently Bluetongue Virus free.
