A yellow weather warning has been issued by the Ronaldsway Met Office for coastal overtopping.
The weather warning comes into place from 11am this morning until 3am tomorrow (December 18).
Strong to gale force winds will result in some coastal overtopping at the next two high tides (especially tonight), approximately 12:35 pm today and 00:54 tonight.
Areas exposed to the south will be at risk, e.g. Shore Road, Castletown promenade and the north of Douglas promenade.
