A Ramsey MHK wants to know what support is available for businesses from the Department for Enterprise.
Both Treasury and DfE have repeatedly said there will be assistance for businesses that struggle to adapt to the minimum wage increase.
Lawrie Hooper MHK wishes to know what support there is for improving productivity, efficiency, cost reduction or increases in sales DfE offers to businesses.
What is Available?
Mr Hooper is seeking information about the support available for businesses in the construction, retail, hospitality, and personal services sectors.
He also wants to know what analysis has been done of similar support provided in Jersey.
The Enterprise Minister Tim Johnston MHK has until November 21 to respond to Mr Hoopers written question.
