The Manx National Farmers Union is gathering evidence to show how significant the provision of a vet farm service is for farmers.
Earlier this week it was announced that Milan Vets were to cease its farm services at the end of the month.
MNFU have launched a short survey so it can support the request to extend the notice period given by Milan to allow for any transition.
Significant Loss
The farmers union said: “Following Milan Veterinary Services decision this week to end farm service provision on 30th November, we are working with DEFA Chief Government Vet and other organisations to respond to the announcement as quickly as possible.
“We all recognise the vital service the island’s vets provide for farms, and that they are highly valued by the industry.”
This survey is open to all farms to complete and is anonymised.
The survey can be filled in here and will close on Monday (November 17) at 5pm.
