Over Christmas criminal mastermind Feathers McGraw returned to our screens to battle Wallace and Gromit in his bid to steal the blue diamond.
However, while the penguin/chicken (if you know, you know) is purely evil, he is also proving very helpful to the island’a Cyber Security Centre.
Throughout the greatest film of the year, Feathers hacked into a computer and used other info he knew about Wallace to enact his evil plans, showing the need for strong password and two-step verifications.
The CSC added: “Feathers used publicly known info about Wallace to gain access to systems.
“Lesson: Be mindful of what you share online and update privacy settings.”
“Feathers used a malicious software update to take over systems. Lesson: Vet software providers and monitor for unusual activity.”
We have removed any possible spoilers for those who haven’t seen it yet (seriously go watch it, I honestly think it is Paddington 2 levels good).
The CSC added: “As we embrace technology to make our lives easier, we must also recognise the importance of securing it.”
