Happy June 1! Hoping, praying, manifesting that June is the the month summer will eventually arrive, my hangover disappears and the never-ending winter goes where the sun don’t shine.
We’ve been teased, flirted with, and bailed on by any chance of a long summer so far, but here’s hoping that is all to change and we can finally get a good tan while enjoying a jacketless beer in the sun.
We all bloody need it.
Today (June 1) is forecast to hopefully do just that, once the fog has pissed off anyway.
Some hill fog is likely at first this morning, but will gradually lift and break during the morning, with the day dry with bright and sunny intervals.
A mainly moderate north-westerly wind, with highs of 16 or possibly 17°C.
My advice for the day? Gather troops and get in the queue for Bushy’s early, maybe have a sneaky tin or two hidden away in the bag if you’re running late to devour whilst in the never-ending queue.
How is it June?
Tomorrow (June 2) – how the hell is it June btw. This year has flown by, which is odd as time flies when you’re having fun and I don’t think resembling a drowned r*t has been much fun.
Anyhow, today is going to be mainly dry but largely cloudy with the risk of some hill fog.
Top temperature around 15 or 16°C, in a light to moderate west to north-westerly wind – an ideal day to nurse the delicate heads and get one’s sh*t together to prepare for the sesh of all sesh’s, race week.
Outlook
Not as vibey as the weekend, Monday (June 3) looks to be cloudy with the risk of occasional outbreaks of rain at times.
Wind will be mainly W 10-15, soon backing SW 15-20.
Tuesday (June 4) is forecast to be largely cloudy with the risk of occasional outbreaks of rain, tending to clear later with sunny/clear intervals.
Wind will be a SW 15-20, soon veering W or NW 10-15, becoming light and variable later.
Enjoy the beers, the bikes and the bantz.
