Manx resident John Whittaker has seen his fortune fall by £500m in the Sunday Times Rich List 2026, dropping him to 109th place with an estimated wealth of £1.5bn.
Whittaker, whose Peel Group spans major UK and Isle of Man property interests, was previously ranked joint 81st.
Also featured is Mark Scheinberg, co‑founder of PokerStars, who owns a home in Douglas. His wealth has fallen by £192m to £4.889bn, placing him 37th on this year’s list.
A new Isle of Man linked entrant appears in the ‘40 Under 40’ rankings: former heavyweight world champion Tyson Fury, now resident on the island, with an estimated fortune of £162m.
