The treasury minister will be asked about the reversal of the “temporary” 2% income tax rise that was implemented in this year’s budget.
In a question for next weeks House of Keys sitting the treasury minister Dr Alex Allinson MHK have to answer to fellow Ramsey MHK Lawrie Hooper.
Hooper will ask Allinson on November 12, “what plans there are to reverse the 2% rise in income tax which was applied in 2024”.
In February of this year, the treasury minister said the rise would be “temporary” while a new healthcare levy was created.
