Airport chiefs are asking people to check before travelling with gales leading to flights being delayed or cancelled.
Gusts of 50-60 mph have hit the island today but they are due to ease this afternoon.
So far today Loganair’s flight to and from Manchester has been cancelled, easyJet has also had issues with its morning flight diverting back to Liverpool.
It’s Liverpool flight due to arrive at 8am is now due on the island at 3:40pm, while the Gatwick flight due in at 10:50am is now scheduled to arrive at 3:20pm.
The 8:30am flight to Liverpool is now due to leave at 4:10pm while the 11:25am Gatwick flight will leave at 3:50pm.
