You’re in for a mixed weekend with the weather and probably a mixture of emotions too due to the cosmic chaos we are to endure.
I’ll get into the weather first before going Mystic Moz on your arse so lets see what we have in store for the weekend:
There will be sunny intervals and only a few isolated showers, then cloudy later in day with some patchy rain developing overnight.
It will however become a bit breezier than it has done of late (lets just pretend Darragh didn’t happen and Bert? Who was Bert).
Wind Starts to Build
The wind will start to pick up today with a west or NW 10-15, 15-20 in places, increasing generally West 15-20 during evening, 20-25 in places.
It is forecast to be mostly cloudy, breezy and mild tomorrow (December 15), but mostly dry with only a little patchy light rain possible.
The wind will build throughout the day starting with a west 15-20, 20-25 in places, increasing West or SW 20-25 later in day, 25-30 gusts 40 in places.
My synopsis? Saturday will be grand, Sunday will be less so – but not windy enough to worry about your trampoline.
Mystic Moz
Glad we’ve got that out the way, now into the good stuff.
Guys, we’ve nearly made it. We have so nearly made it the end of mercury retrograde. The end is in sight – think war is over:
This mercury retrograde has been quite the b**ch, however it will end tomorrow (December 15).
Although don’t think we are out of the woods just yet as it also coincides with a full moon in Gemini.
The December full moon is special both scientifically and astrologically, as it marks the twelfth full moon of the year and brings powerful energy to all zodiac signs – EMBRACE IT.
As we approach the end of 2024, the full Cold Moon will shine in the middle of December, bringing a lively social energy just in time for the holiday season – maybe its time for us to stop being hermits.
Now for those of you who are utter lunatics, please just try to embrace it and hopefully it brings you all the positive vibes you want and deserve.
Although I’m over here buzzing that mercury retrograde is over tomorrow, I shan’t get too excited as the shadow period stays in place until early January so don’t expect things to just be fixed by a magic wand overnight; it’ll take time.
Trust the process.
Less Chaos Please
Going back to the weather, I’m praying for less chaos – more good vibes and settled weather; that may be too much to ask for – but who knows?!
The Ronaldsway Met Office have forecast it to be dry, mild and breezy on Monday (December 16).
Monday will be mostly cloudy, but a few bright and sunny intervals possible.
Its looking to still be fairly breezy with a West or SW 20-25, 25-30 gusts 40 in places, decreasing SW 15-20 later in day, 20-25 in places, then backing South or SW 10-15 overnight, 15-20 in places.
Ah, here we have it. Chaos – I see gales incoming. Get the toilet rolls and stock up the cupboards. It isn’t Christmas without some sort of chaos (just hopefully not cosmic chaos).
Tuesday is forecast to be dry at first, but turning wet (3-10mm of rain forecast) and windy later in day and overnight.
The wind will pick up again from a South or SW 10-15, 15-20 in places, gradually increasing 25-30 gusts 40, possibly 35 gusts 50 in places.
The Met Office comments are ‘strong to gale force winds developing’. I think by now you can all imagine the two words going through my mind at the thought of that: One beginning with F and the O – work it out.
Anyhow, back to positive vibes and this links in well with the weather on the horizon:
Don’t ruin a good day by thinking about the possibility of a bad day in the future. Just enjoy the present moment.
