A woman who claimed to be living alone while living with a partner will be sentenced in October.
Mellisa Curtis, 32, of Ronague, admitted four offences when she appeared before magistrates this week.
Curtis admitted three charges of making false representation to obtain benefit and one of failing to inform authorities of a change of circumstances.
Prosecutor Barry Swain in total she was overpaid £11,269.02 while also running a cat breeding service.
She will be sentenced on October 10 following the completion of a social enquiry report.
